What's the weather like in Tuscany?

Early October is usually sunny between 60-80F. However, Fall 2024 had a little more precipitation than usual. We are crossing our fingers for a nice and sunny day, but anything can happen.

What will our accommodations include?
​
We are so excited to welcome you to our stunning venue, Castello di Ristonchi in Tuscany! It is a rustic, 1,000 year old medieval castle surrounded by olive groves. It's not a regular hotel, so there won't be daily cleanings, but all of the basics will be provided for you such as clean sheets, towels, pillows, blankets, toilet paper, soap and shampoo. The furnishings are typical Tuscan style, and some of the bathrooms are small. It was important for us to have a historical venue, that does mean this will be more like a glamping experience.There is heating, but no air conditioning. The thick stone walls and fresh mountain breeze should keep you comfortable.We will set up an ironing station for anyone needing to iron their clothes during their stay. There are no laundry facilities onsite. The castle is secluded so please bring everything special (like medication) you'll need for the weekend with you.

Are food and drinks included?
​
Yes, food and drinks are included with your stay. Of note, the alcohol available during some events (ie the pizza party will have wine, the pool party will have aperol spritz) will differ from others. We will have a beer keg available for guests who do not like wine or cocktails. There will be an open bar during the rave cave after party.​

Is the bus mandatory for guests?
​​
The bus is a convenient option we are providing for everyone. Historically, taxi/uber drivers get lost dropping guests off and will leave them over a mile away from the venue. The road to get to the castle is older, hilly, and unpaved at parts. We do not recommend low lying vehicles. We decided to get chartered services due to previous couples and guests' experiences getting to the venue.

When is our payment for our stay at the castle due?
​
We cannot accept payments any later than June 20th.​
